Thoughts of Suicide?

I was once told 98% of people have thought about suicide at least once in their life and the other 2% are liars.  So, if that means all of us have thought about suicide at least once, the more important questions become: why?  How often?  Since when?  And what do you plan to do about your thoughts?

Did your loved one tell you he/she was considering suicide?  Did he/she already attempt suicide?  Have you been affected by a loved one committing suicide?

Suicide is so hard for so many people to talk about.  It raises questions about this life and whether or not there is life after this one.  It forces us to answer the question: What is the meaning of life?  It often makes us face our darkest demons.

Suicide does not have to be the answer though.  Please, if you are having thoughts of suicide, call me.  Call 911.  Call the Suicide Prevention Hotline 1(800)784-2433.  Go to the nearest emergency room.  There is help to overcome these feelings.  There is hope when the darkness fades.  Please, let me, let someone help you.
